Lake Eyre (Kati Thanda–Lake Eyre) is an endorheic lake in the east-central part of the far north region of South Australia. It rarely floods but when it does, an array of textures, colours, and shapes are formed across the landscape. An aerial view provides an opportunity to experience a unique perspective that is not often seen. I have been privileged to see the lake from the air while containing an enormous body of water and will never forget that experience. These are a small sample of pictures from that experience.
