Being amid glorious landscape scenery is definitely part of the experience and, I am sure, contributes to what I see and feel when framing the shot. For me it's not the 'nice' picture that I'm after; it's a picture that shows the interplay between the light and the scene, or the minimalist view being created by nature's objects.
