I lived in NYC during this period, spending hours walking the streets with a 35mm camera nearly always loaded with grainy film. I think if I was to live in NYC now, I would produce images from different perspectives, telling different stories and offering different concepts. But that's OK as I consider these images as being representative of how I was feeling and what I was seeing at that time.
